NEFFA Festival, Natick, MA.

The New England Folk Festival Association (NEFFA) puts on its annual music and dance festival each April. It has become the first dance performance for many morris teams throughout the northeast and features continuous performances in the courtyard on Saturday and Sunday. We'll be performing from 5:00-6:00 pm on Saturday, sharing the timeslot with Candyrapper and Green Mountain. See photos from NEFFA.

May Day Celebration, Thornden Park water tower, Syracuse, NY.

This year is the 25th May Day celebrated on Water Tower Hill by Syracuse's original morris team, Thornden Morris. It is the Hound's 21st appearance. This year will see performances by three area morris and sword teams, as well as the much anticipated mummer play, and, as always, the Maypole dance. Come help us dance up the sun and welcome in the spring. Performance at 6:00 am (dawn!). Details of the rest of the day's schedule to follow.

Pokingbrook Morris Thirtieth Anniversary Ale, Albany, NY and environs.

Pokingbrook Morris, one of the original morris teams in the US, is celebrating their thirtieth anniversary. The Hounds toured with Snowbelt Morris and Pokingbrook Women. Thornden Morris, B.F. Harridans, and Pokingbrook Men formed a second tour.

Midwest Morris Ale, Lexington, MI and environs.

This Memorial Day weekend, the Hounds will be returning to the Midwest Morris Ale after twelve or more years [I think it was 1992] when it was hosted by Bloomington Quarry Morris. This year, it is hosted this year by Ann Arbor Morris and Sword on the shores of Lake Huron. Come and see us – it's a pretty drive.

Local Touring with Thornden Morris and Adderbury Morris, Liverpool, NY.

Adderbury Morris will be visiting Syracuse as the guests of Thornden Morris, following their appearance at the Marlboro Ale on Memorial Day weekend. Dancing at the marina in Onondaga Lake Park around 7:00pm.

Chenango Summer MusicFest, Hamilton, NY.

We'll be dancing as part of Colgate University's ninth annual classical music festival. Performance from 11:00 - 11:30 on the green in downtown Hamilton.

Dog Days Ale, Trumansburg, NY and environs.

We've held this ale pretty much annually since 1994. This will be our 8th time hosting it in the Finger Lakes surrounding Trumansburg, NY.

Dancing as guests of Thornden Morris at the every Monday summer get-together at the famed Creamery. Performance at 7:00.

Westcott Street Cultural Fair, Syracuse, NY.

The Westcott Street Cultural Fair is a annual event celebrating the diversity of cultures in the free-thinking university neighborhood long known as the Westcott Nation. The Hounds and friends, Thornden Morris, are scheduled to dance at or near the Harvard Stage for two half-hour slots, 1:30-2:00 and 2:30-3:00. We will also dance in the parade, beginning at noon, that will follow a route along Euclid Avenue to Westcott Street.
