Dog Days Ale 2026

The Dog Days Ale will be held from July 31 - August 2 in the heart of New York State’s Finger Lakes Wine Trail district.

We will camp on the property of the glorious Peggy Haine (wife of our dearly departed former team member Peter Hoover) in Trumansburg, New York, in the heart of New York’s Finger Lakes Wine Trail district. This site, a lovely farm and orchard with plenty of room for camping, has been Morris-tested for many years as the base camp of our Dog Days Ale. It boasts a mind-melting sauna, a guaranteed fine campfire, gorgeous scenery, and plenty of very fresh air.

We expect to take advantage of the area’s abundance of wineries, brewpubs and state parks. There is a pond at the campsite and the lovely beach at Taughannock Falls State Park is only 15 minutes away.

As in the past, we would like an online form filled out for each person who is registering with your team. A link to the Registration Form can be found in the email we sent to your contact person.

To cover Ale expenses, we are asking attendees to contribute the following:

  • $88, ages 21 and older ($98 if payment is postmarked after July 6)
  • $84, ages 17-20
  • $5 per year, ages 0-16

Once we have received your team's registration data, Julia will send your team's squire an invoice to review. To make the payment process go smoothly, please hold off on payment until your squire and Julia reach agreement on what your team owes.

This year's shirt, expertly designed by Susan Galbraith, is based on our 2026 theme, The Pursuit of Happiness, marking the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

Please use this Shirt Order Form link to place your order.

No need to bring food nor cookware – all meals will be provided. We try to accommodate all food sensitivities, as you list on the registration form. Menus and ingredients are available here:
