This group of photos shows many of the events we love attending every year: NEFFA, the Red Herring Day of Dance, and Lilac Sunday in the Boston area; May Day and Tartan Day in downtown Syracuse; and, of course, our own Dog Days Ale. It also shows the increasing availability of Hounds with digital cameras.

In 1996, the Hounds became a mixed Border side. Almost immediately our ranks swelled, as you can see from the group photo taken at the Toronto Ale. Taking inspiration from the Red Stags dances we had already been doing, we began writing our own, developing a repertoire that was soon adopted by other teams.

The Bassett Street Hounds was a men's Cotswold Morris team from 1985-1995. Our kit back then included the same blue, yellow and white ribbons that are still found in our bellpads, but instead of our massive rag coats, we wore royal blue vests.
