This year's design is composed of elements from many past Dog Days Ale shirts. Digital printing enables more colors and finer details than in our usual Ale shirts. Take a look at those details by clicking on the image at right.
Many of you will probably recognize Peter Hoover, the concertina-playing Green Man from our 2011 shirt. Peter passed away last October. We miss him and are glad to feature him again this year.
The background area shown behind the lettering as light blue will actually be the color of your shirt; it could be grey, sapphire, or turquoise blue or the Carolina blue shown at right. Don't worry if that sounds confusing. The shirt order form at https://www.customink.com/g/gqw0-00c9-4g3k has templates that overlay the graphic onto different shirt styles. You'll see what we mean. Don't worry if the overlaid graphic is off center; the printer assures us that the finished product will look fine.
If you have bought shirts at previous Hounds Ales, the Gildan Ultra Cotton shirts are same unisex and “curvy” short-sleeved tshirt and tank top styles we have offered every year.
We have never offered Bella + Canvas before but have personal good experience with Bella + Canvas and Next Level garments.
The Customink ordering site has helpful sizing charts.
All of the blue shirts except the racerback tank top are 100% cotton. The two styles described as Tri-blend (the racerback tank tops and one of the grey short-sleeved tshirts) are poly/cotton/rayon blends. All of the other grey shirts are poly/cotton blends.
